All children and adolescents have the right to decent housing, quality education and better opportunities to get ahead.
At Casa Hogar Mamá Paulita AC, we are not only responsible for helping children and adolescents, we also care about educating them and supporting them in their development as people so that in the future they will be good and successful people.

History

It was in 1958 when one day a little girl approached Mrs. Matilde Osuna de Ruiz asking for help. This girl and her little sister were being harassed by their stepfather and that is why they were desperately asking for help. Mrs. Ruiz felt sorry for their situation and decided to protect them.
Soon more girls also came to ask for help for the same reason. So Mrs. Celia Osuna de Hernández (sister of “Doña Mati”) lent a small house of hers in order to shelter them and give them protection. Miss Inés Contreras kindly offered to take care of them.
Seeing the need to accommodate the little siblings of the girls who arrived at the house, two bedrooms with bathrooms, a playroom and an apartment for the directors were built.
In 1982, with the support of the Caring Action for Children association, a school was built next to the General Gregorio Osuna Hinojosa School house, which was open to the entire community. In the morning, kindergarten, pre-primary, and first to sixth grade classes were taught, and in the afternoon, a media room was set up to teach computer classes.
And when there are floods, it serves as a shelter, since it has bathrooms and a full kitchen.
This work continues thanks to the support of people and institutions that identify with the vision of transforming the lives of these children and adolescents, who generously cooperate with their donations.
But above all, the mission is to continue tirelessly with the purpose of raising the quality of life, in food, school education, clothing, medical care and recreation, and thus give them the opportunity to become good men and women so that in the future they can positively impact the community in which they live.

Mission

Vision
To comprehensively prepare children and adolescents so that they have the opportunity for a better future and go out to impact their environment as honest, responsible and productive people.
